From starting out working on brands like McDonald’s to more recently launching the McDonald’s of the new millennium, Guy’s philosophy for success is simple: understand what people expect from brands, not what brands expect from people. It is this mindset that has positioned him as one of the top creative thinkers and leaders for almost twenty years.
With his experience spanning four continents, Guy has helped build and maintain the creative product of some of the hottest ad agencies around the globe from Crispin Porter & Bogusky in the U.S. to Colenso BBDO in New Zealand. More recently he held the Creative Director and Executive Creative Director positions at Clemenger BBDO Sydney and Saatchi & Saatchi Australia respectively before coming to understand that in this era of radical social transparency the most successful brands can and must be a force for good. This realisation then saw Guy found The Change Community, a conscious creative agency working with companies to drive profit through purpose, and in doing so positively transforming humanity.
Guy’s work to date at big multi-nationals has seen him impact the world’s largest and most innovative brands including Nike, Sprite, BMW, Burger King, Virgin Atlantic, Google and the Miller Brewing Company to name but a few. Whilst his experience running The Change Community for the past three years has seen him execute complete business transformations to propel newer more socially responsible brands into the spotlight, all the while learning invaluable commercial knowledge.
His thinking and creative leadership has been recognised with over 100 pieces of metal and finalists at all major international shows, he’s judged the work of his peers on juries around the world on many occasions and he’s been named as one of the Top 10 Global Creatives of the past decade by Young Guns international.
